Plasma
A dual-mode plasma system that operates in both hot and cold states — each serving a distinct function. NOVA addresses acne, scarring, and aging with a precision that single-modality devices cannot match, and it forms the core of many of our most transformative composed protocols.
NOVA generates ionised gas (plasma) at two precisely controlled temperatures. Hot plasma (above 40°C) penetrates the dermis to trigger deep collagen remodelling and scar revision. As plasma technology has grown popular across Asia, a wave of devices has entered the market claiming dual hot-and-cold plasma functionality. In practice, the large majority fall critically short in two ways — and the difference matters far more than most clients realise.
Many devices toggle between intensity levels and call it "hot and cold." Neither mode reaches the sustained temperature threshold — above 40°C at the tissue interface — required to trigger true deep-dermal collagen remodelling. Cold plasma is effective for surface sterilisation and inflammation; but without genuine hot plasma, the structural anti-aging and scar revision results simply cannot follow.
NOVA operates in true continuous wave — sustained, uninterrupted plasma delivery that maintains consistent energy at the tissue throughout the treatment. Most lower-cost devices deliver energy in bursts with gaps in between. For collagen induction specifically, sustained stimulus is what drives the biological cascade. Spicule therapy uses naturally-derived marine micro-structures to create a biological renewal response — gentler than conventional needling, but remarkably effective for surface renewal, oil regulation, and as a finishing step that helps the skin relearn its own healthy rhythms after deeper treatments.
