NOVA Plasma Aurora 300
Plasma is not a single treatment. At Roses & More, the NOVA Plasma Aurora 300 gives us access to both Cold Plasma and Hot Plasma. Depending on what the skin presents, a treatment may use Cold Plasma, Hot Plasma, or a considered sequence of both.
The technology follows the assessment — not the other way around.

Plasma is often described as the fourth state of matter. It is formed when sufficient energy is supplied to a gas, producing an ionised state containing charged particles.
But seeing the word plasma on a treatment menu does not tell you everything about the technology being used. Plasma systems can differ in how plasma is generated and delivered, their energy and temperature characteristics, the modes and applicators available, and the applications for which they were designed.
That is why Roses & More identifies the technology we use: NOVA Plasma Aurora 300.
Two plasma modes.
Different applications.
The point is not to decide which mode sounds more powerful. The point is that they behave differently and are used differently.
Lower-temperature plasma
Cold Plasma operates at relatively low temperature. Cold atmospheric plasma is an active field of research in plasma medicine, including work on antimicrobial activity, interactions with biological tissue and skin permeability. NOVA Plasma also documents Cold Plasma applications within its professional treatment protocols.
At Roses & More, Cold Plasma is used only where its characteristics are appropriate to the skin and the treatment being performed.
Controlled thermal plasma
Hot Plasma uses controlled thermal plasma energy and is used differently from Cold Plasma. NOVA Plasma describes Hot Plasma applications across skin renewal, firming and lifting, wrinkle and scar-related applications, and other treatments where controlled thermal interaction is required.
At Roses & More, Hot Plasma is used only where the treatment and skin assessment indicate that it is appropriate.

Aurora 300 makes Hot and Cold Plasma available within one professional platform. Either mode may be used independently. Where appropriate, Cold and Hot Plasma may also be sequenced within the same treatment. Dual Plasma does not mean that every treatment automatically uses both.

Hot + Cold Plasma
Aurora 300 provides both plasma modes within one platform, supporting different applications and, where appropriate, considered sequencing within a treatment.
Continuous Plasma Technology
NOVA's technology uses continuous plasma delivery with controlled energy regulation, applied according to the selected mode, applicator and treatment protocol.
Application-Specific Control
Different applicators and treatment configurations allow the technology to be used for different plasma applications rather than treating “plasma” as one fixed procedure.

For Roses & More, the reason for choosing a technology is what its options allow us to do when the skin in front of us calls for something different.

Having Hot and Cold Plasma available does not mean using more technology. It means having more than one plasma approach available when we assess the skin.
Begin with the skin
Every treatment begins with what the skin is presenting at that visit: its current condition, how it is responding and what it appears ready for. The first question is not “which plasma mode?” It is whether plasma is appropriate at all.
Choose what makes sense
Where Advanced Plasma is relevant, we determine which mode, applicator and treatment approach fit what we are trying to address. That may mean Cold Plasma. It may mean Hot Plasma.
Use both only with reason
In some treatments there is a reason to use Cold and Hot Plasma in sequence. Where there isn't, we do not use both simply because the technology makes both available.
More treatment is not automatically better treatment.

Advanced Plasma is not one fixed treatment
At Roses & More, Advanced Plasma describes the technology, not a single universal facial. Different treatments can use the technology differently. Mode, sequencing, preparation and recovery considerations depend on the treatment being performed and what the skin presents.
For anti-ageing and lifting concerns, Advanced Plasma currently forms part of Roses & More treatments including LIFT & GLOW Standard and LIFT & GLOW Signature, while selected applications such as MAX TIGHT & LIFT begin with a consultation.
What to expect depends
on the treatment.
There is no single preparation, sensation, treatment sequence or recovery profile that applies to every use of Advanced Plasma. Cold and Hot Plasma are different modes, and Roses & More uses Advanced Plasma within different treatments.
Some applications may involve little interruption to normal activity. Others require preparation beforehand or a recovery period afterwards. Suitability and expectations are therefore discussed in relation to the actual treatment being considered, rather than making one blanket promise about “plasma treatment.”

What is Advanced Plasma?
Advanced Plasma is the public term Roses & More uses for our professional plasma treatments. We use the NOVA Plasma Aurora 300 platform, which provides both Hot and Cold Plasma capabilities.
What is the difference between Hot Plasma and Cold Plasma?
They are different plasma modes with different energy and temperature characteristics and different applications. Cold Plasma operates at relatively low temperature and is an active area of research in plasma medicine. Hot Plasma uses controlled thermal plasma energy and is used for different applications, including treatments directed towards skin renewal and firming. Which, if either, is appropriate depends on the treatment and assessment.
Does Dual Plasma mean I receive both Hot and Cold Plasma?
No. Dual Plasma refers to Aurora 300 making both modes available within one platform. A treatment may use Cold Plasma, Hot Plasma, or a sequence of both where appropriate.
Why does Roses & More use NOVA Plasma Aurora 300?
Aurora 300 gives us access to Hot and Cold Plasma, continuous plasma technology and different application-specific configurations within one professional platform. For us, the important part is not simply having those options. It is being able to select among them according to the skin and the treatment being performed.
Can I book an Advanced Plasma treatment directly?
Some treatments that incorporate Advanced Plasma are directly bookable; others begin with a consultation. You do not need to choose Hot or Cold Plasma when booking. The assessment at your visit determines how the technology is used, if it is appropriate.
Does plasma treatment have downtime?
There is no single answer for every plasma treatment. Preparation and recovery depend upon the mode, application and treatment being performed. Where a treatment requires preparation or a recovery period, this is discussed specifically before treatment.
How do I know whether plasma is right for my skin?
You do not need to determine that before coming to Roses & More. Tell us what is concerning you or what you would like to address. Assessment determines whether Advanced Plasma is relevant and, if it is, how it should be used.
