The body knows
how to heal.
Microneedling reminds it.

Precision microneedling in Singapore at Roses & More Skin Alchemy uses controlled mechanical stimulation to initiate the skin's own repair and remodelling response. How the treatment is performed follows from the skin in front of us.

No heat. No plasma. No thermal energy.
Just a controlled signal for the skin to begin repairing itself.
The needles create the stimulus.
The treatment comes from knowing where, why and how much.

Microneedling uses fine needles to create controlled microscopic punctures in the skin. Those punctures initiate a repair response that can support progressive remodelling of skin structure and texture.

At Roses & More, microneedling is not treated as a fixed recipe. Treatment area, depth, passes, skin condition, treatment objective and aftercare all matter. Assessment comes first; the device follows.

What actually happens

A controlled injury.
A much larger biological response.

The visible procedure is brief. The repair and remodelling response continues after the session.

01

Signal

Fine needles create controlled microscopic punctures. The purpose is not simply to make channels; it is to initiate the skin's repair response.

02

Repair

Cellular signalling associated with wound repair begins. Fibroblast activity and the production and reorganisation of structural proteins form part of that response.

03

Remodel

Remodelling continues after the treatment itself is over. That is why microneedling is assessed over time rather than by what the skin looks like immediately after a session.

Microneedling is a deliberate modality in its own right — not a lesser version of another technology.

Precision matters

Not every millimetre of skin
needs the same treatment.

A powered microneedling device creates the mechanical stimulus. Judgement determines how that stimulus is used.

Forehead ≠ cheek

Different areas differ in thickness, structure and tolerance. Treatment settings should not be copied mechanically from one area to another.

Scar ≠ fine line

The treatment objective matters. A textural irregularity and a general skin-renewal concern do not automatically call for the same approach.

Scalp ≠ face

Scalp work has a different objective and treatment context from facial microneedling. It should be considered as its own application.

Resilient skin ≠ sensitised skin

What the skin appears ready for on the day matters. Sometimes the correct decision is to reduce, change or defer treatment.

Assessment determines the treatment. The device does not make the decision.
Where it may fit

Different concerns.
One controlled mechanical approach.

These are areas where microneedling may be relevant. They are not automatic treatment pathways; suitability follows from assessment.

Skin quality

Texture & Renewal

Microneedling may be considered where uneven texture, visible pores or broader skin-quality concerns are part of the presentation.

Ageing concerns

Lines & Skin Remodelling

Controlled collagen induction may form part of an approach to fine lines and age-related changes where conventional microneedling is appropriate.

Textural scarring

Post-Acne Scarring

Microneedling is used for selected atrophic post-acne scars and textural irregularities, with the treatment approach shaped by scar type and skin condition.

Scalp programmes

Hair & Scalp

Precision microneedling may also form part of selected scalp and hair programmes. Scalp protocols are considered separately from facial treatment.

How we choose

The technologies do not compete
for your skin.

They give us different ways of responding to it. The concern is the starting point; assessment determines which modality, if any, makes sense.

Precision Microneedling

Controlled mechanical stimulation without thermal energy, used where conventional collagen induction is appropriate.

Advanced Plasma

Hot and Cold Plasma capabilities selected or sequenced according to the treatment and skin assessment.

SonNext Ultrasound

Non-focused, non-thermal ultrasound using mechanical acoustic effects. Its strongest pairing at Roses & More is with Plasma Microneedling rather than being a default addition to conventional microneedling.

Spicule Bio-Microneedling

A different approach to skin stimulation using marine spicules rather than powered needles.

More technology is not automatically better treatment.
After the session

Recovery is a process,
not a stopwatch.

What follows depends on treatment intensity, area, skin response and the protocol performed. We avoid promising a universal day-by-day result.

Immediately after

Redness & sensitivity

Temporary redness, warmth or sensitivity can occur after microneedling. Your aftercare instructions should be followed according to the treatment performed.

The following days

Settling

The skin may feel dry, tight or lightly flaky as the surface settles. Individual recovery varies, so we do not treat a fixed timeline as a promise.

The following weeks

Remodelling

Changes in texture and skin quality may become progressively apparent as remodelling continues. Where a course is appropriate, timing follows skin response rather than a universal schedule.

Questions

About precision
microneedling.

Does microneedling hurt?

Sensation varies with treatment area, depth and individual sensitivity. Comfort measures may be used where appropriate, and the treatment is adjusted according to the protocol being performed.

How much downtime should I expect?

There is no single recovery timeline for every microneedling session. Temporary redness, warmth, dryness, tightness or light flaking can occur. We explain what to expect for the specific treatment being considered.

How many sessions will I need?

That depends on the concern, treatment objective and how the skin responds. Some people may have a single session; others may be better served by a course. We do not use one fixed schedule for every skin.

Can microneedling help post-acne scars?

Microneedling may be relevant for selected atrophic post-acne scars and textural irregularities. Scar type, skin condition and suitability need to be assessed before deciding on the treatment approach.

What is the difference between microneedling and spicule bio-microneedling?

Conventional microneedling uses a powered needle device to create controlled mechanical stimulation. Spicule bio-microneedling uses marine spicules and is a different treatment modality with a different treatment experience and protocol.

How do I know whether microneedling, Advanced Plasma or another technology is right for me?

You do not need to decide that before you arrive. Tell us what you are noticing in your skin and what you would like to address. Assessment determines which approach makes sense, and sometimes that means not using the technology you originally had in mind.

You don't need to choose
the technology before you arrive.

Tell us what you are noticing in your skin. We'll start there, assess what the skin is presenting, and decide whether precision microneedling belongs in the approach.
