Sensitive does not mean

Someone may arrive describing eczema, sensitivity, reactivity, dryness, discomfort or a history of flares. That information matters, but it is still only the starting point.
Roses & More looks at the skin in front of us before deciding what kind of intervention belongs. Current presentation, sensitivity and tolerance can all change how active or restrained the session should be.
CALM & CLEAR is one current Roses & More treatment using NOVA Cold Plasma. Its existence does not mean that every eczema-prone or reactive presentation automatically leads to Cold Plasma.
What We Are Looking At
The word “eczema” doesn’t tell us everything.
These are not remote diagnostic criteria or automatic treatment rules. They are some of the considerations that can shape how cautiously the skin should be approached.
Reactivity
Easily reactive skin can call for a very different level of stimulation from skin that is presently settled and comfortable.
Current tolerance
Treatment choice is not simply about what a technology can do. It also depends on whether that kind of intervention belongs for the skin being seen now.
Treatment objective
Before choosing a modality, we establish what the session is actually trying to accomplish and whether active intervention is appropriate at all.
Assessment Before Technology
We do not begin with “eczema equals plasma.” We begin with the skin.

Sensitive & Reactive Skin
Does having eczema automatically determine the treatment?
No. Eczema or eczema-prone skin describes an important concern, but it does not automatically determine what should be done in a salon treatment. Current presentation, reactivity, tolerance and the treatment objective still matter.
What if my skin is particularly reactive when I arrive?
Tell us. Current presentation is part of the treatment decision. Roses & More may adjust the session, choose a quieter approach or hold back active treatment where that is the more considered decision.
Do I need to know which treatment to book?
No. You can simply tell us what you are noticing and what concerns you. If you already have a treatment such as CALM & CLEAR in mind, that preference is useful information, but assessment still guides the treatment decision.
