Every Roses & More founder story has to start somewhere, and ours starts a long way from a skincare studio.
I will tell you a little about how this came to be.
Not everything. Just enough.
Before 64B
Before this space existed, Noel and I had a very long, very full life that looked nothing like a skincare studio.
We lived across different countries for years. He was doing work I am still in awe of, the kind that meant showing up for children who had nowhere else to go, in a system that often had no good answers for them.
I was holding things together, building things with my hands in Bali, finding my people in communities of makers and healers who taught me what real care feels like from the inside.
Not from a textbook. From the inside.
Coming home, and the question
When we came home to Singapore, I went back to school. Got my certifications. Formalised what I already knew how to do.
And I kept asking one question that nobody in the industry seemed to have a satisfying answer for.
Why does this have to be done this way?
Why the rush. Why the template. Why the distance between practitioner and client that seems to be built into the model by default.
I never got a good answer to that question. So we built something that answered it differently.

We did not set out to build a brand. We set out to build a space that felt like everything we had always believed care should feel like.
There is so much joy in what we do. I mean that plainly. This work, done this way, with these clients, in this space, is a genuine privilege.
We are grateful for every bit of the journey that brought us here. The good and the hard alike.
